WHAT DOES BAREBOAT MEAN?
This means that after this class, you will have the ability to charter and skipper a boat on your own with no hired crew. Ever want to charter your own boat in the San Juans, British Virgin Islands, Tahiti, Hawaii, Greece? Then this is the class for you! Mike is a charter broker so can charter you a boat (this will save you money and time!) and provide you with all of his expertise in sailing around these exotic waters.

On one of our 43'+ boats you will learn all about:

- Advanced Anchoring
- Docking
- Emergency Operations
- Weather Interpretation
- Dinghy/Tender Operation

- Galley Operations

- Auxiliary Engine Operation
- Routine Maintenance
WHAT TO EXPECT
This class takes a full weekend - 48 hours aboard + 1 hour ASA exam. Hours vary based on location. (Friday 12pm-Sunday 12pm OR Friday 5pm - Sunday 5pm). There will be one instructor and a maximum of five students. As this is an overnight class, you will be sharing a stateroom with a person of the same gender or the person you signed up with. This class includes textbook, online video, ASA certification, provisioning, and 48 hours aboard the yacht.
