ASA 111 Basic Keelboat Refresher

ASA 111 Basic Keelboat Refresher provides a review of key skills covered during ASA 101, Basic Keelboat 1. As with Basic Keelboat 1, this course’s focus is on sailing a basic keelboat of up to 26 feet in length in light to moderate winds (up to 15kt).  The course is appropriate for those who, while perhaps having recently completed Basic Keelboat 1, desire additional practice, or those for whom a significant amount of time has lapsed since they last sailed. Skills covered include sailing theory, docking and departures, points of sail, sail trim, tacking, jibing, and figure eight crew overboard recovery.
