Able to skipper a sailing vessel on extended offshore passages requiring celestial navigation. Knowledge of long-term passage planning, offshore vessel selection, sail repair, offshore first aid, watch-keeping, emergency procedures, abandon ship protocols, safety, and seamanship.
Class begins and ends in Port Angeles
This class has 'Pre-work' required by you to complete before attending class. (Read the ASA "Advanced Coastal Cruising" textbook [included in class price {shipping not included} pickup available from our Tacoma-Tyee office]
As an overnight class, all students are required to be FULLY vaccinated and provide proof of said vaccination.
